The Artist Directory is a database of every registered artist, accessible year-round, and can be searched by medium, keyword, neighborhood, radius from a given location, and last name.

After registering and paying the $50 fee, you become part of the year-round CWOS Artist Directory and are provided with your own CWOS web address (URL), at which your profile is viewable by any visitor to cwos.org. Your profile can be edited and updated at any point during the membership period, for one year, beginning on the date you register. Material you submit may include:

•    Artist's statement
•    Biography/CV
•    Resumé
•    Link to artist's external website
•    Up to 20 images of work
•    Media in which you work
•    Keywords describing your work
•    Studio address

You may access your profile at any time and may reorder, add or delete your images, alter your bio, revise your artist statement, or elect to take part in any of the opportunities listed on the CWOS website. Registering for CWOS also allows Artspace to keep you updated via e-mail of any events or opportunities that come up throughout the year related to CWOS.

The Artist Directory is also a year-round public face for CWOS—any visitor to cwos.org from anywhere in the world can search the Directory; visitors from New Haven can organize their own tours of studios of a given area during Open Studios weekend; a curator or gallerist can browse the site, looking for the finest talent New Haven has to offer.
