Artist Statement
I am a photographer of music, people, parties and nature. I'm addicted to the warmth of film and the sound of a shutter advancing. Sometimes, I can't truly see until I look through a heavy old camera. I use my cameras as a way to resist the desire for instant gratification, to experiment with shapes, lines, depths of field and to expose fleeting emotions. There is always another way to look at a subject, because photography is a series of well-timed mistakes. And if done right, photography is time travel. My drawings are desktop calendar doodles, usually the result of writer's block, mindless brainstorming and long phone calls.




















Artist Bio
I am the Associate Editor at the Fairfield County Weekly, in Bridgeport, and I'm also a photographer for them, the Hartford Advocate and the New Haven Advocate.
